As the founder of Counseling for New Life, Young S. Lee is a Christian counselor and Sex Addiction
Therapist who brings over ten years of experience to working one-on-one, with couples, or in groups, for those struggling with sex addiction, cybersex issues, pornography, infidelity, love addiction, co-dependence, and relationship issues. She has a passion for relationship restoration and enrichment, and provides relationship enrichment seminars and workshops. She speaks at retreats, churches, women's groups, and a variety of other organizations.
Ms. Lee has a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Counseling and Christian Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. She also has a Master's degree in Business Administration Management. She has over 15 years of executive management experience in corporations and the federal government. Her clinical education as a Sex Addiction Therapist includes receiving her certification as a Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT), a Multiple Addiction Therapist (CMAT), and certification by the American Association of Certified Christian Sexual Addiction Specialists (CCSAS). She has studied under Patrick Carnes, the recognized authority on Sex Addiction, at the Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), and uses the teachings of Pia Melody, an expert on love addiction and co-dependency. She is in training with Terrence Real, author and expert on relationships and relational therapy.
